During the preparation of these pages, I have come across many “My Likes”. I have been thinking about including them in a separate page, like this one. Things that inspire me. Let's see what you think....Hope you enjoy them too!
The website below first caught my attention by chance. It impressed me as a good site, very complete and efficient, to buy prints whether framed or not, in many styles and themes. In there, you can customise every single detail to your preference and taste. However, it wasn´t until I actually clicked into one of their products, that I became fascinated by it!
To start with, once you click in one of the prints, you are transferred to another window where you can opt to click to the “view in room” link. That leads you to a “Room view showcase” that made all the difference for me. In this window, you can choose some random examples for living rooms, bedrooms, hallways, etc, and it allows you to visualise the print you were considering, in that particular room. You can change the colour of the walls if that helps. But is not all, you can actually upload unlimited images of your OWN rooms and walls to visualise the print in them. You can play around with them, move the prints here or there, and try different scenarios. You can also add the dimensions of your rooms or walls for a more precise visualisation. Great, isn´t it?
KITCHENS COOKSHOP,
Why I have included this shop within My Likes? Well, I love this store! It is one of those places where I enter looking specifically for that particular shade of
peach paste colouring
for my icing, and end up checking on everything in stock: from the
box and ribbon packs
for my homemade treats to the
jam strainers with stand
! Having learnt from past experiences, now I try to avoid visiting the store in a rush, and plan it accordingly to be able to take my time to indulge myself enjoying all the displays, discovering new tools, picking some ideas, planning future treats... If you are UK based, plan a visit or have a look at

Most of us live a very hectic life these days. For one reason or another, we seem all so busy! With the "Food Recipes & Travels" theme of this website in mind, I understand that travelling can be sometimes difficult to fit in our schedule, but there is no question about us having to eat! If you are inspired when the time of cooking arises, but have not all the time in the world to actually do it, you will feel much understood with any of these books. You can still be a chef, and on your spare time on top!
